This weekend my Italian publisher, Piemme, held auditions to cast the perfect Patch and Nora for the upcoming Italian book trailer for SILENCE. What a cool idea, right? I followed the auditions live on the Piemme Facebook page, as the event happened in Milan, and I'll post the link here, should you like to see how the auditions went down. In the end, both the director and I thought that Giovanni and Rossella were excellent picks to play Patch and Nora. I'll be sure to post the book trailer once it goes live!

I don't see Patch that way. I'm sorry but, it's the truth and I thought you should know.
I didn't envision patch to look like this but hopefully the hair, makeup n clothing team make him my sexy little Patch I imagine. I'm hoping these movies are good quality...unlike the twilight movies which were totally disappointing
That is not at all what I saw when I saw patch. I was thinking kinda long straight flippy black hair, not that bush on top of that kids head.
I'm sorry but I don't think they cut it as Patch & Nora, my opinion I would really like it if Selena Gomez played Nora & Drew Roy as Patch that would be an awesome picture
Nooooooo!!!! I didn't get to audition yet! D: I thought I would be the best one for Nora. ;( I would've LOVED to act as Nora for my favorite book ever! My friends said they would imagine me as Nora for my good looks and curly hair ;3
