Hi! I'm Becca Fitzpatrick, the author of the internationally bestselling HUSH, HUSH saga. When not writing, I'm most likely running, prowling sale racks for shoes (stilettos, please!), or enjoying one of life's many little indulgences: Ice cream, Veronica Mars, losing myself in a book, painting my toenails, or simply daydreaming. I do my best to update this blog as frequently as possible with news on upcoming events, tips for writers, and all things pertaining to my books.

Sea Lion Books has sent over a revised version of Patch, based on some very helpful feedback from you guys. I don't know about you, but I am SO happy with what the artist has done this time around. Patch is definitely looking more Patchy! I love that his eyes are a prominent feature now, and I love that his hair looks more unruly. Also, I'm loving the black wardrobe, ha!
Now the big question...what do you think?

Some exciting news for my readers and fans in the UK! For the next two weeks, to celebrate the paperback release of CRESCENDO, posters of the book can be spotted in cinemas nationwide. If you spot a CRESCENDO poster in your favorite movie theater, please take a picture and share your photo online!
And since I don't live in the UK, and would love to see some pics, please feel free to tweet them to me @becfitzpatrick OR post them on my Facebook page.
Can't wait to see your photos!

Happy Friday, guys!
Here's a little something I've been given permission to share. Sea Lion Books, the publisher making the HUSH, HUSH graphic novel (due out later this year) have given me a couple rough sketches of Patch and Nora. Keep in mind these are just that—rough sketches—and the final designs will be much more detailed. It has been a lot of fun for me to see how the artist interprets the characters, and I can't wait to see how the story unfolds as more characters come to life through his drawings. I'm also super curious to hear what you think!
P.S. Click on the sketches to enlarge.
