About Me

Hi! I'm Becca Fitzpatrick, the author of the internationally bestselling HUSH, HUSH saga. When not writing, I'm most likely running, prowling sale racks for shoes (stilettos, please!), or enjoying one of life's many little indulgences: Ice cream, Veronica Mars, losing myself in a book, painting my toenails, or simply daydreaming. I do my best to update this blog as frequently as possible with news on upcoming events, tips for writers, and all things pertaining to my books.

Would You Like to Attend a Private Chat with Becca?

Hey!  It's Becca's Assistant Jenn here.   Becca is currently touring in Australia, but I've got a treat for those of us who aren't lucky enough to be there with her.

FallenArchangel is hosting a private chat with Becca and 12 lucky fans and I have 2 spots to give away!  Would you like to be one of the Lucky Dozen??

Here are the two ways to enter...

1.   Leave a Comment here on the blog today (Wednesday, December 7) by midnight EST telling me what question you would most like to ask Becca if you were in the private chat - One winner will be selected for a spot in the chat.  Be sure to include an email address where I can contact you if you are picked as the winner.

OR

2.    Tweet "I wish I could ask Becca ___________________ @PatchsOtherGirl " Fill in the blank with what you would want to ask and be sure to include my twitter name @PatchsOtherGirl so I can track your entry. Audition!

This weekend my Italian publisher, Piemme, held auditions to cast the perfect Patch and Nora for the upcoming Italian book trailer for SILENCE. What a cool idea, right? I followed the auditions live on the Piemme Facebook page, as the event happened in Milan, and I'll post the link here, should you like to see how the auditions went down. In the end, both the director and I thought that Giovanni and Rossella were excellent picks to play Patch and Nora. I'll be sure to post the book trailer once it goes live!

eeeeeeek!

I'm a little slow on the draw, but I made myself vow not to watch The Trailer until I finished work for the day. (And speaking of that, Book 4 is up to 350 pages - heading into the climax tomorrow!!) But this. THE HUNGER GAMES. I remember the first time I read the book - I picked it up at my local independent bookstore, where it was displayed on a table of new releases. I hadn't heard of the book, but a salesman assured me it was an incredible read. So I picked it up. The rest, as they say, is history.

WHY CAN'T THIS MOVIE RELEASE OVER CHRISTMAS?!?
